Fondcare was founded by Maria Tabbasam, who brings over 15 years of frontline social care experience within Bradford Children and Families Trust. That direct experience of working with care leavers, understanding their challenges, and seeing what support actually works shaped every aspect of how Fondcare operates. We combine professional expertise with genuine local knowledge to deliver support that makes a difference.

Independence Pathway Programme
Our structured skills development programme prepares young people for independent living through practical learning modules covering budgeting, cooking, tenancy management, and employment readiness. Each resident receives a personalised pathway with clear milestones, building confidence and competence at their own pace.

A cleaning service that will clean Fondcare’s property, ensuring all living spaces remain safe, hygienic, and welcoming. In addition to this, they deliver workshops to residents on essential domestic skills, including cleaning, home organisation, and the safe use of household utilities—empowering young adults to manage their own homes confidently as they work towards independence.
